Donations sought for move from Warehouse District to near University Medical Center

Ozanam Inn, New Orleans' main shelter for homeless men, has finalized the $3 million purchase of new premises near University Medical Center, providing the nonprofit a new home after its longtime Warehouse District location was sold to a hotel developer.

Clarence Adams, chief executive of Ozanam Inn, said the former medical building at 2239 Poydras St. will undergo a $1.8 million renovation over the next several months to prepare it for use as soon as September.  CLICK HERE FOR FULL ARTICLE
